Main masak2 : Pizza (27/7/09)

Hari ni a friend of mine Kak Beb datang nak bajar wat pizza. Actually aku segan jugak nak ajar kak beb nih sebab Kak Beb ni sebenarnyer memang dah pandai wat roti..and dia memang tokey biskut raya yg femes kat Keningau ni. Hehehe....tp kalau orang dah mintak aku memang takkan hampakan.

Dalam pada nak bajar2 luper pulak aku nak print out resepi, huhuhuh...ape punyer cikgu da...tak pe Kak Beb, nanti saya email resepi nye yer ! Memang syiok main masak2 dengan Kak Beb..macam cerita kluar...mostly citer pasal masak2 lah...hehehe...to Kak Beb, tima kasih sebab sudi Main Masak2 dengan saya yer !

Durian cake (part 2)



Hehehehe......punya la terliur dengan kek yang di order oleh Cikgu Lini...maka lepas dah hantar kek tu kat dia....saya pon pulun la pulak buat sebijik lagi. hahahaha...siyes terliur!

Masa dok tengah hancurkan isi durian tuh .....alahai.....sedapnyer bau....pastu rasa sikit kat hujung jari.....mak aihhhh! manyak sedap wooo....! I couldnt resist! hahaha....

For the cake, I used sponge cake. I amik resepi from blog Sweetlily. Resepi span kek nye sangat senang and utk 1 adunan ni leh berat dia lebih 500g sikit kalau dah deco2....so kira orait la kan?





Durian Cake


Bahan2:

2 biji kek sponge bersaiz 7 inci (resepi kek span, nanti saya tepek)
2 sudu besar gula + 1/2 cawan air, untuk di jadikan sirap.


A. utk topping dan filling:
1 cawan whipping cream
-pukul di dalam mangkuk yg sudah disejukkan hingga kembang dan set. (yakni bila di terbalik kan mangkuk tu...krim tak tumpah)



B.untuk filling durian:
300g isi durian yg di carik2
2 sudu besar gula
1/2 cawan air masak.
1sudu besar tepung jagung

cara2:
-masukkan kesemua bahan2 di dalam satu mangkuk, dan blend menggunakan hand blender hingga hancur dan sebati.
-jika anda tak ada hand blender, boleh blend di dalam blender biasa atau pon blend di dalam food processor.
- masukkan ke dalam periuk dan masak sehingga pekat.
-ketepikan.


Cara2 melapis kek:

- ambil sebiji kek span dan belah dua. Kek yang sebiji lagi saya tak belah.
- ambil kek yg tidak di belah, letak di atas cake board. Kemudian, sapu permukaan atas nye dengan sirap (campuran gula + air).
- kemudian ambila kira2 2 senduk whipped cream dan sapu kan rata di permukaan kek.
- setelah itu sapukan pula di atas krim tadi dengan separuh dari pada isi durian yang di puri tadi.

- ambil bahagian kek yg di belah tadi (ambil bahagian bawah) sapu permukaan bawah nyer dengan sirap dan lapis di atas sapuan krim dan puri durian tadi.
- sekarang, sapu pula permukaan atas nya dengan sirap ,diikuti dengan krim dan puri durian.
-ambil bahagian kek yg terakhir, sapu bahagian bawah dengan sirap dan lapis di atas kek.

- ambil 2 senduk krim, sapu di atas kek dan keseluruhan kek. Hiasla mengikut kreativiti anda.

-kek ni sedap di makan sejuk, nyum2 !



Durian Cake order

My Ayang's colleague wanted to order a cake. At first she wanted a black forest cake but at the end of the conversation she told me that if I could make a durian cake it would be much better. So I thought.....hmmm..durian cake..sounds exotic and yummy too !

So I searched here and there until I remembered I had come across this blog featuring a durian cake and then I knew right away.....I have to make this durian cake. I really do. The challenge for me was that when it's not durian season yet so it is almost impossible to find people selling durians and it was only yesterday I finally found some durian. Thank god! And lucky for me- someone me who doesn't have a clue on how to buy and pick the right durian ,all the durians that I bought was sooooooooooo creamy ,sweet and delicious. !

And finally.....this is what I got.

Main masak2: Pizza

Actually...ni bukan kelas formal la...more like doing a favor to a friend. Siti my neighbour who lives a few doors from my house had asked to teach her how to make a pizza. I immediately agreed and arranged the suitable time for us to held the class...or more like "main masak2" hehehe...

So last Saturday we made pizza. I taught Siti how to make a classic pizza dough. I just provided all the ingredients and Siti did everything from mixing the dough....preparing the toppings, and baked them. We only did one choice of topping and by the end of the session Siti went home with a freshly baked pizza and also a ball of pizza dough so that she can prepare another pizza at home all by herself. I hope Siti enjoyed the class...well, if you can call it a class and I'm really looking forward for more "main masak2"session like this. (Actually, I was supposed to have another main masak2 today with Kak Beb, but unfortunately, due to unexpected occasions we had to postpone it to another date that we haven't decided yet.....)

Singgang Ikan Tenggiri (Kelantan Style)


Hmm....saya kalau beli ikan tenggiri biasanyer buat singgang lah. Saya suka...cik abe suka...anak2 lagi la suka. Nak2 kalau makan cicah ngan budu. Hadoii....masyuk wa cakap lu ! Kenapa pulak saya panggil Kelantan Style ? Sebab saya penah tengok my fren yang orang Terengganu masak singgang...dia letak kunyit...so saya assume..kalu Terengganu nyer style..kaler dia kuning la sket. Apa2 pon...masak singgang ni sangat la senang. Sume main masuk je dalam periuk....pastu masak la. Senang kan? nak makan lagi la senang....lebih sedap kalau kuah singgang tu di letak banyak2 sampai banjir.....uish ! Enak banget !



Singgang Tenggiri Kelantan Style

Bahan2:

1/2 ikan tenggiri yg dah di potong2 (ikan kembung boleh, ikan tongkol pon bulih jugak)
3 ulas bawang putih dihiris2
2 keping asam keping
1inci lengkuas (dihiris2)
garam secukup rasa
sedikit gula melaka (kira2 seketul sebesar ibu jari tgn)
2 biji cili hijau
5 biji cili padi
4 gelas air


Cara2:
- masukkan kesemua bahan ke dalam periuk
-tutup periuk dan hidupkan api
-biarkan kuah menggelegak.
-siap !

Senang kan? makan la dengan nasi panas......pastu picitkan cili padi tu dalam nasi....pedas baru le menyengat !
